Fresh reports reaching the desk of Africa Daily News, New York has it that the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has served a two-week ultimatum to both the Federal and State Governments to press home members’ lingering demands warning of impending industrial action.

The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Allied and Education Institutions (NASU), have announced the suspension of the Unions’ ongoing strike for a period of two months to enable the federal government the opportunity to implement some their agreements.
