Trump belittled Michael Bloomberg as an ineffective candidate and vowed to defeat him in a potential 2020 presidential matchup — if the ex-mayor gets that far.

“Little Michael will fail,” Trump told reporters on the White House lawn. “And if he did (win the Democratic nomination), I’d be happy. There is nobody I’d rather run against than Little Michael, that I can tell you. ”

Like he has with other rivals, Trump claimed Bloomberg had praised him in the past and is flipping the script to score cheap political points.

SA: Teacher Left Bleeding After ‘Assault’ By Grade 4 Pupil

A grade 4 pupil from Sakhile Primary School in Heidelberg, Gauteng, has been suspended after allegedly assaulting a teacher on Tuesday.

Gauteng basic education spokesperson Steve Mabona confirmed the incident.

“It is alleged that a grade 4 learner threw a pencil case towards an educator while she was busy at her table. Unfortunately, it hit her in the face,” said Mabona

The teacher was taken to a local hospital and discharged the same day.

“We can confirm that she is recuperating at home. Our employee wellness officials are in constant liaison with the educator for necessary support,” Mabona said.

A night-time earthquake in northwestern Iran on Friday killed five people and injured 120, according to early reports on state television.
The 5.9-magnitude quake struck about 120 kilometres (75 miles) southeast of the city of Tabriz, in East Azerbaijan Province, in the early hours of the morning, the Iranian Seismological Center said.Described as “moderate”, the shallow quake was eight kilometres (five miles) deep and was followed by five aftershocks.

Russian troops wearing World War II uniforms on Thursday marched across Moscow’s Red Square in memory of the historic 1941 parade when Soviet soldiers went directly to the battlefield to fight the Nazis.

The annual re-enactment featuring some 4,000 troops and T-34 tanks commemorated the legendary November 7, 1941 parade whose participants marched from Red Square to the front line, becoming a symbol of courage and patriotism.
