Nigerian Customs Donates 86 Seized Drones To Nigerian Navy

Fresh reports have revealed that the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has on Tuesday made a generous donation of 86 drones to the Nigerian Navy (NN) toward enhancing some of its operations.

The NCS Comptroller-General retired Col. Hamid Ali, who had been in charge of presenting the items in Abuja had also revealed that they had been intercepted at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, after the importers had also failed to present End Users Certificate (EUC).

Fresh reports reaching the desk of Africa Daily News, New York has revealed that the bodies of some eight migrants who had been thought to be Tunisians missing for two weeks have finally been recovered on Monday off the coast of the north African country.

“Sailors on Monday morning found eight bodies of migrants off Zarzis whose boat was thought to have sunk two weeks ago,” Mongi Slim, head of the Red Crescent in Medenine had revealed to newsmen.

About 58 illegal oil points have been discovered so far since the operation to end oil theft on the waterways of Delta and Bayelsa states began.

Mr Rauf Aregbesola who is the Nigerian Minister of Interior has revealed that he will be meeting with the state Governors to finalise an agreement on the mass release of at least 30 per cent of most of the inmates from custodial centres all across the country.

War: Death Toll From Missiles On Ukraine Town Climbs To 14

No fewer than 14 people have so far been confirmed dead after seven Russian missiles struck the industrial town of Zaporizhzhia in southern Ukraine, the town council’s secretary announced yesterday night. 

Africa Daily News, New York gathered that the missiles struck before dawn on Friday, with three landing just around the town centre, just 40 kilometres (25 miles) from the artillery battles of the southern front.

‘Sad news keeps coming to us from the analysis of the buildings hit during the attack,’ said Anatoly Kurtev via Telegram.

‘For now the number of dead has gone up to 14.’
