Railway Workers To Embark On Three-Day Warning Strike

The Nigerian Railway workers are to embark on a 3-day warning strike from Thursday, November 18 to November 20, 2021.

General Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Railway Workers (NUR), Comrade Segun Esan, confirmed this in a chat with Daily Trust.

Daily Trust gathered the workers have notified the authorities of the strike.

₦924.7m Debt: Kanu Nwankwo, Hotel Fined By Lagos Court

Former Super Eagles captain, Kanu Nwankwo and his hotel, Hardley Apartment, have been fined ₦30,000 by a Nigerian Court.

The Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke-led Federal High Court in Lagos, Friday, ordered Kanu and his hotel, Hardley Apartment, to pay the sum.

They were fined for stalling the scheduled hearing of debt recovery suit brought against them by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON.

Recall that AMCON had dragged the former Arsenal star, his hotel and its directors, Ayoola Gam-Ikon before the court over alleged debt of ₦924.7 million.

The Assembly of Health Ministers of the ECOWAS region on Friday disclosed that Nigeria and other African countries would get access to the newly developed malaria vaccine by the first quarter of 2022.

Truck owners under the auspices of United Truckers Advocacy Team on Friday lamented the incessant extortion of owners and drivers by some security operatives along port access roads in Lagos.
