Start Submitting Guest Lists, Police Order Hotels In Anambra

The Anambra State Police Commissioner, Echeng Eworo, has ordered all the hotels operating in the State to henceforth promptly submit their guest lists daily to the nearest divisional police station in their areas or face serious sanctions.

This was contained in a statement by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Ikenga Tochukwu, in Awka, the state capital which was obtained by Africa Daily News, New York on Sunday.

The statement also directed proprietors of private/public hospitals in the state to promptly report anyone with bullet wounds or any related injuries in their facilities to the police.

Taliban Begin Paying Salaries To Govt Employees

Afghanistan’s Taliban authorities said Saturday they had begun paying government employees who had not received a paycheck since the Islamists seized power and triggered a major financial crisis.
