EKEDC Billing: Ebute-Metta Residents Take To The Streets

There was a bit of unrest on Sunday as residents of Ebute-Metta in Lagos State took to the streets to decry the highly estimated billing system which the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) is meting out to the community.

Most of the protesting residents who trooped out on Apapa Road moved over toOyingbo, at about 4.00 p.m. to show their discontent with the billing by the company.

The Chairman, Ebute-Metta West A, Eko Distribution Customer Forum, Mr Dapo Williams made clear allegations that the disco company engaged in illegality within the axis.
