VC Forecasts LASU To Become Best Varsity In West Africa

Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, the Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU) has opened up about one of the set goals of the institution is to become the best universities in West Africa.

The Vice-Chancellor opined this at an event which was organised by the university to mark International Museum Day (IMD) 2022, in Lagos.

The Day is celebrated annually globally on May 18, and gives the chance for professionals to meet people and inform them about the challenges museums face.

The European Union (EU) while reacting to the lynching of the Shehu Shagari College of Education student, Deborah Samuel last week has expressed grief over the terrible incident while calling on the Nigerian Government to do their best in bringing her murderers to book.

No fewer than 727 medical doctors who were trained in Nigeria relocated to the United Kingdom between December 2021 and May 2022 Africa Daily News, New York has gathered.

The figure was contained in data obtained from the website of the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom on the number of foreign doctors working in the UK.
