2Baba’s wife, Annie Idibia, loses dad to cancer

Annie Idibia, wife of Nigerian music legend 2baba on Wednesday announced the death of her father, Macaulay as a result of an unsuccessful battle with cancer.

The 34 year-old Ibadan born actress, model and mother of two from Eket, Akwa Ibom state took to her Instagram handle @annieidibia1 to wish her father farewell.

“RIP Daddy, You fought Hard #cancersucks #thepainsIsGone,’’ she wrote.

Meanwhile, some Nigerian celebrities took to the comment section of her Instagram to express their condolences.

Big Brother Naija Season 4 kicks off June – Multichoice

Pay television channel, Multichoice Nigeria, says season 4 of its reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, which kicks off in June, will be filmed in Nigeria.

Announcing the return of the reality TV show on Sunday, Multichoice said the 2019 edition  will have its theme as  – “Forget Wahala”.

It said that Ebuka Obi-Uchendu would return as the show host for the third time, adding that the reality TV show was scheduled to be filmed in some other countries as well.

Comedian Akpororo has hit back on OAP personality Daddy freeze for taunting him over the low turnout of people at his Comedy show titled `Akpororo Live on Stage.’

Tonto Dikeh quits Nollywood, turns Bible preacher

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh may have dumped the movie industry as she took to her Instagram page to preach to her fans about God’s love for his people.

Tiwa Savage signs deal with Universal Music Group

Nigeria’s hot selling  singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage has signed an international recording deal with the Universal Music Group.
Universal Music Group (UMG) is an American global music corporation and is the world leader in music-based entertainment.

Tanzanian singer, Diamond Plantnumz has accused Peter Okoye, of the defunct P-Square, also known as Mr. P, of sleeping with his (Plantnumz) wife, Zaria.
