Following the positive acclaim on her debut release on the Universal Music Group, ’49-99′, Tiwa Savage unveiled two new singles Wednesday, ‘Attention’ and ‘Owo Mi Da’.

Both tracks reveal the singer’s alter egos through lyrics styles and instrumentation employed on each musical offerings.

Taking the route of needy lover, Tiwa holds back tears from an unrequited love on ‘Attention’. Over steady rhythmic beats, she subtly warns of a breakup if her lover fails to pay give her the attention she craves.

Wizkid Wins SoulTrain Songwriting Award For Brown Skin Girl

 Afropop superstar, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid has won SoulTrain’s Ashford and Simpson Songwriters’ award.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that he won the award at the 2019 ceremony held on Sunday in Las Vegas.

The ‘Ojuelegba’ singer earned the award for his collaboration with Beyonce, Blue Ivy Carter and SaiNt Jhn on the sensational song of Beyonce’s ‘Lion Heart: The Gift’ album.

Wizkid shares the award with other credited songwriters including, Beyoncé Knowles, Carlos St. John, Adio Marchant and Shawn Carter.

Kanye West Is Taking “Sunday Service” To Joel Osteen Church

“Christian Genius Billionaire” Kanye West will be paying a visit to televangelist Joel Osteen’s Houston megachurch this Sunday.

West, who released his first gospel album, Jesus is King, last month, will be having a 15-to-20-minute conversation with Osteen at Lakewood Church’s 11 a.m. service, the Houston Chronicle reports.
