The Lagos State Police Command have arrested Nollywood star, Funke Akindele, for hosting a house party despite an order against gatherings in the city.

The party contravened a ban on a gathering of more than 20 persons put in place by the state government to curb the spread of the deadly virus.

President Donald Trump has fired the inspector general for the intelligence community who handled the whistleblower complaint that triggered his impeachment.

Trump informed the Senate intelligence committee on Friday of his decision to fire Michael Atkinson, according to a letter obtained by The Associated Press.

Internationally bestselling author J.K. Rowling on Wednesday launched a new website showcasing content from her Harry Potter books in a bid to help stave off boredom for millions of children stuck at home.
