Some of the detectives from the Department of Security Service, DSS, Port Harcourt branch have detained a guard attached to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Rivers State for selling some of their sensitive materials.

Raiders in Mali, yesterday killed no fewer than 20 civilians in attacks on villages near the northern town of Gao, while a UN peacekeeper was killed by a landmine in the turbulent region.
