Wanted Rivers PDP Youth Leader Speaks From Hideout

The wanted Eleme Local Government Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Youth leader, Princewill Osareojiji, who has a ₦5m bounty placed on his head by the Rivers State Government, has accused a serving Commissioner in Governor Nyesom Wike’s cabinet for his current travails.

Osareojiji, who spoke for the first time with Nigeriainfo FM, Port Harcourt, from hiding alleged that he was framed by some senior PDP members from Eleme and a certain Commissioner who is also his kinsman.

He also dismissed the allegation of leading some hoodlums to Prodest Hotel to attack members of COVID-19 Taskforce in Eleme.

NDLEA Arrest Illegal Drug Peddlers In Abia

Men of Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), led by the Abia State Commander, Mr. Akingbade Bamidele, have raided the hideout of a gang of criminals and illegal drug peddlers around the Ngwa Road by Mosque Street in Aba.

The State Command of the NDLEA, in a successful operation conducted in the area on Wednesday, arrested four suspected criminals, seizure of some illicit substances and destruction of the hideout used by the criminals as a haven for their operations.

9 IPOB Members Caught With Police Guns Arrested In Delta

The Delta Police Command on Wednesday arrested nine suspected members of the outlawed group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The Commissioner of Police (CP), Mr. Hafiz Inuwa, while parading the suspects said they were behind the numerous deadly attacks on policemen in Asaba and environs.

Thirteen police service rifles were recovered from them, NAN reports.

Inuwa said the suspects were arrested following a discreet and painstaking investigation by officers in the command.

China Trying To Hack Vaccine Research – FBI

The United States says China-linked hackers were targeting U.S. research organisations to steal data on vaccines and treatments for coronavirus.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) alerted of the development on Wednesday.

The police authorities in Ghana have arrested a prostitute and her colleagues after she allegedly pushed a man with a condom on, from her room window during an argument.

Eleven sex workers were arrested by Asokwa District Police Command in connection with the death at Asafo in the Kumasi metropolis of the Ashanti Region.

Two Chinese men, Mr. Meng Wei Kun and Mr. Xu Koi, have been arrested by the Sokoto Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for offering ₦50million as bribe to its Zonal Head, Mr. Abdullahi Lawal.

Lagos State Government has shut down two facilities in the Badagry West Local Council Development Area of Lagos State for contravening new guidelines issued by the government to operators of hotels, clubs, and other entertainment outfits in the State.

19 Sailors Killed As Iran Mistakenly Bombs Own Ship

Iran bombed its own ship during a training exercise in the Gulf of Oman on Sunday.

A fired missile struck a support vessel near its target.

No fewer than 19 Iranian sailors were killed and 15 injured.

Iran’s state media, IRNA, gave the update on Monday after it earlier claimed that only one sailor died.
