The Kano State Hisbah Board has confirmed the arrest of one Yahaya Zakari, a chemist, who allegedly uses a secluded house aside from his shop to have affair with women.

Suspected Bandits yesterday shot dead the village head of Dogon Daji in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mr. Anja Mallam.

The Defence Headquarters says troops of ‘Operation Delta Safe’ have deactivated several illegal refining sites and disconnected illegal pipelines in the Niger Delta.

The Defence authorities said the troops have also intercepted and confiscated contraband vessels in the region in the last two weeks.
