The Kano State Hisbah Board has confirmed the arrest of one Yahaya Zakari, a chemist, who allegedly uses a secluded house aside from his shop to have affair with women.

The suspect, who is a resident of Sabuwar Gandu in Kano metropolis, was trapped in the house by the local security operatives in the area on Friday.

The Police Command in Akwa Ibom has confirmed an attack on its Udung Uko Divisional Police Headquarters by some yet to be identified gunmen.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Odiko MacDon, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Udung Uko in Akwa Ibom on Sunday.

Suspected Bandits yesterday shot dead the village head of Dogon Daji in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Mr. Anja Mallam.
