The National Drug lord enforcement agency, NDLEA has confirmed the arrest of suspended Commander of Intelligence Response Team (IRT) at the Force Intelligence Bureau of the Nigerian Police Force, DCP Abba Kyari, over his alleged involvement in a 25 kilograms cocaine deal with a drug cartel.

NDLEA Declares Abba Kyari Wanted Over Drug Trafficking

More troubles have have ambushed suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, as the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on Monday declared him wanted over alleged links with drug trafficking.

NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi made the announcement during a press conference which was monitored by Africa Daily News, New York on Friday.

Recall that just last year, he was suspended over links with convicted fraudster Hushpuppi, Mr Kyari was the Commander of Intelligence Response Team (IRT) at the Force Intelligence Bureau of the Nigerian Police Force.

Police Ordered To Conclude Investigations On Kyari In 2 Weeks

Nigeria Police Force has been issued with a two weeks ultimatum to conclude investigations on the case involving the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari who was suspended from the force last year.

The ultimatum was issued by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on Friday following recent disclosure by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubarkar Malami.
