Emiliano Martínez has turned down all offers from Turkish clubs, including a €22.5 million bid from Galatasaray, opting to remain at Aston Villa. This decision follows the collapse of his potential move to Manchester United.
Martínez had agreed to personal terms with United, and a swap deal involving Jadon Sancho was proposed. However, Sancho declined a permanent move to Villa, agreeing only to a loan deal. Consequently, United pursued other options and signed Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp for £18.2 million.

Despite interest from Turkish clubs, Martínez was reportedly uninterested in a move to Turkey . Aston Villa manager Unai Emery had previously stated that the club would not stand in the way of players seeking transfers, provided the offers were substantial . However, Martínez’s decision to reject the Turkish offers indicates his commitment to Villa.
With the transfer window closed, Martínez remains at Villa Park. Emery has emphasized the importance of player commitment and has encouraged Martínez to reintegrate into the team and prove his dedication.
Martínez’s future at Villa Park appears secure for now, as he continues to be a key figure in Villa’s defensive lineup.
