Federico Chiesa and his agent have informed Liverpool that the winger is committed to staying at the club.
Chiesa, who had previously been considering a move away during the summer window in June and July, has now decided to remain on Merseyside. The Italian international had been weighing his options amid interest from abroad, but the departure of Luis Díaz has changed the landscape for him.
With Díaz’s exit, Chiesa is expected to see more regular minutes in Liverpool’s attack and play a more central role in the squad this season. Sources close to the player say this opportunity to step up and establish himself has been key in his decision to stay put.
Liverpool, who view Chiesa as an important asset moving forward, are understood to be pleased with his commitment. The club had no plans to force a sale but were aware of his initial concerns about limited playing time. His decision now provides Jürgen Klopp with additional stability as he reshapes the forward line.

While the summer market remains open for a few more weeks, Chiesa’s stance signals that Liverpool’s front three may be taking shape for the season ahead. The Italian is expected to compete for a starting role immediately and will look to make a strong impact in both domestic and European competitions.
