Iran Security Forces ‘Gun Down’ Mahsa Amini’s Mourners

Fresh reports reaching the desk of Africa Daily News, New York has revealed that some of the Iranian security forces have reportedly opened fire on some of the protesters who massed in their thousands on Wednesday in Mahsa Amini’s hometown to mark the 40 days since her death.

Amini, who had been a 22-year-old Iranian of Kurdish origin, died on September 16, three days after her arrest in Tehran by some of the the notorious morality police for allegedly breaching the Islamic dress code for women.

India’s antitrust watchdog has fined Google $113 million for ‘unfair’ payment policies, a week after hitting the tech behemoth with an even bigger financial penalty for abusing its market dominance.

In some fresh moves, some of the top New York City health leaders have voted on Tuesday to fully rescind the strictest-in-nation COVID vaccine mandate which had been implemented by former New York Mayor, Bill de Blasio in some of the waning days of his administration which has been described as the last signoff which is needed to end the program next week.
