North Korea Shoots Ballistic Missiles Over Japan

North Korea in another controversial move has reportedly fired a ballistic missile over Japan for the first time in about five years which has also prompting Tokyo to activate its missile alert system and issue a rare warning for residents to take shelter.

The latest launch which the United States has branded as “reckless and dangerous” — comes in a record year of sanctions-busting weapons tests by North Korea, which had recently revised its laws to declare itself an “irreversible” nuclear power.

The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria has constituted a suit against Meta Platforms Incorporated which is the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp platforms and its agent – AT3 Resources Limited – at the Federal High Court, Abuja Judicial Division.

Liberian Govt Confiscates $100 Million Worth Of Cocaine

Liberian authorities on Tuesday confirmed that they had seized some $100 million worth of cocaine, with help from the United States’ international narcotics agency.

Liberian Justice Minister Musa Dean informed reporters the national Drug Enforcement Agency, with help from the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, had made the seizure Saturday in Topoe village, a western suburb of the capital Monrovia.

The operation led ‘to the seizure of $100 million worth of pure cocaine’, he said.

He also added that a Guinea-Bissau national and a Lebanese suspect were arrested.

2nd Niger Bridge To Be Ready For Use By Christmas 2022 – FG

The Federal Government of Nigeria has reiterated that the second Niger Bridge will be ready for use by Christmas this year.

Mr Seyi Martins who is the Ag Controller of Works in Anambra made this known in an interview with reporters in Awka on Monday.

Martins revealed that the first phase of the Second Niger Bridge measuring 1.6km, had reached 95 percent completion.

The Controller said, contrary to the news making the round that the project would be ready by 2024, the projects would be ready for use for travelers during the yuletide.
