
William Ruto’s Presidential Victory Upheld By Kenya’s Supreme Court
In lieu of the recently concluded general elections in Kenya, the Kenyan Supreme Court has unanimously rejected all the challenges that had been posited against the official results of the presidential election thereby upholding the Deputy President William Ruto’s win.
Opposition candidate, Raila Odinga had openly alleged some irregularities in the otherwise peaceful August 9 election that had been marked by the last-minute drama when the electoral commission split and traded accusations of misconduct.
