Pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, has expressed strong concerns about the increasing level of insecurity in Nigeria, wondering if the country’s leader, President Muhammadu Buhari was even aware of the situation.

Afenifere claimed that the rate at which insecurity was spreading was as if there was no authority that could control the monsters in a statement released by its national publicity secretary, Comrade Jare Ajayi, on Monday.

Following the soul-lifting performance of Team Nigeria at the 22nd Commonwealth Games, Birmingham 2022, President Muhammadu Buhari has described the feat as a parting gift to him which he is quite grateful for.
