Tuchel Handed One-Game Ban Following Spurs Misbehaviour

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has been issued a one-match suspension and fined about £35,000 ($41,000) after he was sent off following an unsportsmanlike clash with Tottenham boss Antonio Conte, the Football Association (FA) confirmed on Friday.

On Friday, a drought was officially declared in several parts of Wales days after many regions in England did the same, following a lengthy period of dry weather without rain and record temperatures that has been blamed on climate change.

Africa Daily News, New York gathered that areas which were affected include North Ceredigion, Teifi, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthen, Swansea, Llanelli, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA), has asserted that except Nigerian authorities facilitate the release $464million in revenue due to foreign airlines and trapped in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), more airlines may suspend operations into Nigeria.

Fresh reports reaching the desk of Africa Daily News, New York has revealed that the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has openly come out to fully condemn the decision of the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, to revoke the licenses of 52 broadcast stations in Nigeria.

NUJ’s National President, Chris Isiguzo had also lamented that the NBC’s decision was hasty, ill-timed and reckless.

Antonio Guterres who is the United Nations chief has on Friday pleaded with the Russian Governement that the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station should not be actually cut off from Ukraine’s grid, following some of the Ukrainian reports that Moscow had been planning to cut them off.

“Obviously the electricity from Zaporizhzhia is Ukrainian electricity… This principle must be fully respected,” the UN Secretary General said during a visit to the port of Odessa in southern Ukraine.
