Fresh Strike Looms As Doctors Issue 2 Weeks Ultimatum

Fresh reports reaching the desk of Africa Daily News, New York has it that the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has served a two-week ultimatum to both the Federal and State Governments to press home members’ lingering demands warning of impending industrial action.

The President of the association, Dr Godiya Ishaya issued this ultimatum during a news conference organised at the end of the Extraordinary National Executive Council (E-NEC) Meeting yesterday in Ilorin.

This was revealed by the Lagos State Police Command, on Sunday, as they stated that prompt steps were taken to apprehend the assassins who killed Francis Oguntulu, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area Chairman, Kehinde Oloyede.
