Japan Declares Full Interest For African Seat On UN Security Council

Recent moves by the Japanese Government has revealed that Japan will be using its place on the United Nations Security Council to manage to push for a better African seat on the top world body.

This had been revealed by the Japanesse Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Sunday.

TASUED Finally Suspends Lecturer Declared Wanted By ICPC

The Management of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, has given a fresh directive to immediately suspend one of their lecturers who has been identified as Dr. Olaniran Balogun, who had been previously declared wanted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

Gunmen Murder Lawyer In Kebbi, Police Arrest Wife

A lawyer at the Gwadangaji area in Birnin Kebbi local government area of Kebbi State, Barrister Attahiru Ibrahim, was on Saturday gruesomely murdered by gunmen.

 

Attahiru according to the police spokesman in the state, SP Nafiu Abubakar, was killed by people yet unknown but his wife, Farida, was arrested in connection with the incident.

Nafiu told newsmen in Birnin Kebi that on received the information, a team of policemen mobilised to the scene and forced themselves into Attahiru’s house where the late barrister was in a pool of blood and was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
