Neglecting Cultural Heritage Is Wrong – Gani Adams To Akeredolu

Iba Gani Adams who is the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yoruba land, has advised the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu and some of the other traditional monarchs in Ondo State not to neglect the Yoruba cultural heritage.

Adams had also tasked both the government and traditional rulers try their best to make use the state’s cultural heritage to generate more revenue instead of relegating it to the background.

Adams had also made these disclosures during the 2022 edition of Okota festival which was held at the Palace Square, Arigidi-Akoko.

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has disbursed ₦15.9 million to the families of some officers and men of the force who died in the line of duty.
