Muslim-Muslim Ticket Protest: Over 10,000 Christians Storm Abuja

Reports reaching Africa Daily News, New York has revealed that over 10,000 Nigerians from across the 19 northern States were converged in Abuja, the Capital to massively protest the Muslim-Muslim ticket structure which had been adopted by Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The protesters who went under the aegis of All Christians Community of Northern Nigeria had all marched to the Presidential Villa to submit a protest letter to the Federal Government of Nigeria over the Muslim-Muslim ticket adopted by the APC.

This mass sacking action which was in consonant with the Ekiti state’s transition law, was also to done to ensure the payments of entitlements of political office holders and their terminal benefits.

31 Killed In Sudan Tribal Clashes Near Ethiopia Border

No fewer than 31 people have been killed in clashes this week between two tribes in Sudan’s Blue Nile state bordering Ethiopia, the security services said on Saturday.

They added that another 39 people had been wounded and 16 shops torched during the violence, which erupted on Monday over a land dispute between the Berti and Hawsa tribes.
