Communal Clash Claims Four Lives In Adamawa

No fewer than four persons have been confirmed dead in a clash between the Lunguda community and some settlers in Adamawa State.

The incident, which happened at Lafiya in Lamurde Local Government Area of the state, was confirmed by the Lamurde Council Chairman, Bulus Daniel.

Daniel informed reporters about the death of four persons in the violent confrontation which reportedly started on Monday morning.

‘I can confirm to you that about four people have been killed, but we do not have the full statistics of the casualties as of now,’ Daniel said.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, says he knows a name that could change Nigeria for good.

He said this on his Facebook page, attaching an image of himself with a text – Jesus.

The Senate leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi has decamped from the ruling All progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi State.

His defection from the APC to the PDP was confirmed by his special adviser on media and publicity Muhammad Jamil Gulma.

“Senate Leader Dr Yahaya Abdullahi will on Wednesday by 9 am leave Abuja for Kebbi and proceed to Kamba local government to formally declare for PDP and to possibly indicate his interest to contest his present seat,” Vanguard qouted him as saying.
