NATO Chief Reveals How Long Ukraine War Is Expected To Last

Jens Stoltenberg who is the NATO chief has warned in an interview published Sunday by German daily newspaper Bild that the war in Ukraine could last “for years”, while reiterating calls for Western countries to provide long-term support to Kyiv.

“We must be prepared for this to last for years,” the secretary general of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization said.

“We must not weaken in our support of Ukraine, even if the costs are high — not only in terms of military support but also because of rising energy and food prices.”

In a sad occurence, the Kaduna State Government (KDSG) has finally confirmed the news making rounds that some bandits had laid siege to a church where they attacked worshippers, killing three people in the process and injuring two others in Kajuru Local Government Area.

As a result of the rising spate of reports against the commission’s agents about extortion and bribery, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in Benue State on Sunday has announced that it has issued queries to two of its staff for allegedly extorting PVC registrants in Oju Local Government Area.

INEC also announced that the commission will be completely withdrawing the two officers from the ongoing voters’ registration process in the community.

Senegal’s leading opposition leader has issued an ‘ultimatum’ to President Macky Sall, requesting him to release those detained amid a day of rioting that left three people dead, according to reports.
