Zelensky Reveals Plans To Slam Visa Policy On Russians In Ukraine

Volodymyr Zelensky who is the Ukrainian President has made an announcement on Friday that Kyiv would be putting plans in motion to introduce visas for Russians from July 1, four months after Moscow’s invaded his country.

“Ukraine will be introducing a visa regime for citizens of the Russian Federation,” Zelensky said on his Telegram account. He said the requirement would take effect on “July 1, 2022”, according to a government decision that he expected “today.”

These fresh sanctions or policies will be tantamount to ending a  visa-free travel routine for Russians that began when Ukraine became independent from the Soviet …
