‘Youths Should Wake From Their Political Slumber’ – NANS

While expressing their readiness for the 2023 general elections, the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) in a new statement has openly urged students and youths to wake up from their political slumber and get ready to elect better, youth-oriented and youth-focused leadership in the 2023 general elections.

NANS also tasked all Nigerian youths to do their best in getting their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) as the new electoral law in place guaranteed that votes must count as the chances of rigging had been tamed to the barest minimum.

This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday in Enugu

As a result of the tumultous political storms brewing in the APC camp in Kebbi State, an All Progressives Congress (APC) support group in Kebbi has made an open appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Chairman of the party, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu to intervene in the crisis rocking the party in the State.

The group who have been identified as the Concerned APC Members/Supporters in Aliero/Gwandu/Jega Federal Constituency, made the appeal in a statement which was issued in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday and it was signed by its Chairman, Usman Ibrahim, and the Secretary, Mohammed Aliyu.

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has finally found the 17-year-old Safiyanu Ameerah, with Twitter handle @ameerah_sufyan, who had come up with claims on her twitter social media space that she had been abducted alongside 17 others on the 14th of June 2022 in Abuja.

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has announced that it has taken delivery of some additional mobile assets which would be implemented for enhanced maritime security in its “Deep Blue’’ project.
