US Woman Who Got STD In Car Gets $5.2m In Damages

A bizzre case between a United States woman who contracted a sexually transmitted disease from her partner during romantic encounters in his car and his insurance company has ended with her being awarded $5.2 million in damages from his vehicle insurance company.

The woman in the state of Missouri successfully claimed her partner had negligently infected her with HPV, and that his policy covered her for “injuries and losses.”

APC Senatorial Candidacy: INEC Boots Akpabio Out

Fresh reports hitting the desk of Africa Daily News, New York have revealed that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has rejected the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary that produced Godswill Akpabio as the party’s candidate in the Akwa Ibom North-West senatorial district.

Akpabio, who stepped down for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the ruling party’s Presidential Candidate, was proclaimed the victor of a senatorial primary held on Thursday.

Stephen Ntukekpo, the State APC Chairman, stated that he was asked by the national party to conduct a re-run due to alleged breaches.
