AfDB Inaugurates Youth Entrepreneurship Banks In Nigeria

In a fresh development, the African Development Bank (AfDB) has reiterated that it would be designing youth entrepreneurship investment banks in 13 African countries to create wealth in the continent.

Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, the President of the AfDB Group, said this at a news conference to conclude the Bank’s 2022 Annual Meetings in Accra, Ghana.

Adesina said the move, to be finalized by June, would help youths get capital and create wealth for the younger generation for the development of the continent.

It was another episode of surprise strategies as another Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen has quit the race for the prime seat.

The Cross River State police has reacted to a bloody incident which led to the death of one at the Akpabuyo/Bakassi/Calabar South APC primaries for the House of Representatives primaries yesterday.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kaduna State Command has announced on Friday that its operatives in a crack operation have arrested four suspected vandals and recovered 500 railway slippers in Kaduna.

The State Commandant of NSCDC, Mr Idris Adah, said this at a News Conference in Kaduna.

Kevin Spacey Comes Under Fire For Homosexual Sex Assault

Popular Hollywood actor and producer, Kevin Spacey has come under fire been charged with four counts of sexual assault in the United Kingdom.

The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed on Thursday that the offences involved three men.

Spacey, 62, was charged after evidence was reviewed following complaints between 2005 and 2013.

Rosemary Ainslie, CPS Special Crime Division Head said the Service “authorized criminal charges for four counts of sexual assault against three men”.  In a release, she disclosed Spacey has been charged with “causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent”.
