The Minister of State for Petroleum, Chief Timipre Sylva has made a u-turn and withdrawn from the presidential race in the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The petroleum minister had given his reason as having considered the enormous work at the ministry and thus had to let go of his presidential ambitions.

The result of Sunday’s mob action that saw to the lynching of five and the death of one in Oniru, Lagos State has seen the Lagos State Police Command arresting four people over the killing of sound engineer, David Imoh.

The Command’s Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the development to Channels Television on Sunday.

Hudeyin said, “The victim is David Sunday Imoh, aged 38. The incident occurred on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
