The Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo has asserted that his ability to attend to complex and sensitive issues when President Muhammadu Buhari was on medical vacation overseas stands him in good stead to lead the country from 2023.

He made the assertions during his visit to Kaduna State yesterday to meet with All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates.

CAF Rules Out Kenya, Zimbabwe From 2023 AFCON Qualifiers

Kenya and Zimbabwe have been ruled out from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers having ‘failed to have their suspensions by FIFA set aside’ the Confederation of African Football has confirmed.

Africa Daily News, New York recalls that FIFA had on February 24 suspended both federations over what they termed ‘government interference.’

‘As a consequence of having failed to have their suspensions by FIFA set aside, CAF has confirmed that both Kenya and Zimbabwe will not participate in the Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 qualifiers,’ read the CAF statement.
