Seven Farmers Gruesomely Murdered By Terrorists In Zamfara

No fewer than seven farmers have been confirmed dead after terrorists invaded their farmlands in Faru community of Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, in the early hours of yesterday.

According to one Garba Abdullahi, who is an indigene of the community, the farmers were working in their farmlands, preparing for this year’s farming season, when the bandits attacked and killed them.

The eyewitness narrated to reporters via phone that one of his relations, Sani Akwala was among the people killed during the attack.

Amotekun Nabs Man Impersonating DSS In Ekiti

Operatives of Ekiti State Amotekun Corps have arrested a man, identified simply as Fatoba, along Efon–Ado Road for illegal possession of a gun and impersonating the country’s secret police.

Amotekun Corps Commandant, Brig. Gen. Joe Komolafe (retd.), made this disclosure in Ado Ekiti yesterday saying that a gun was discovered in the suspect’s car upon search by operatives of the corps, following which he identified himself as an officer of the Department of State Services.

The Amotekun commander also disclosed that a suspected human trafficker, identified as Olabode, was arrested for alleged human trafficking to Mali.
