As part of their intensive efforts to combat insecurity, the Europe Union (EU) has put out initiatives to continue working with Nigeria to enhance security, economic development and its vision for the future.

The office of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has reported that it rescued 360 people without injuries from 119 crashes nationwide involving 701 people, during 2022 Eid-el-Fitri special patrol from April 29 to May 4.

Pope Francis has postponed a trip to Lebanon which was initially scheduled for June over health concerns, Lebanon’s tourism minister Walid Nassar confirmed Monday.

Nassar however did not provide further details on the ‘health reasons’ behind the postponement, but the pope who has suffered from pain in his knee was seen using a wheelchair for the first time at a public event Thursday.
