40 Yr-Old Man Die In Septic Tank Mishap In Kano

A 40-year-old man who has been identified as Mu’azu Garba on Thursday died in a soak-away – septic tank  at Jigirya, in Nassarawa Local Government Area (LGA) of Kano State after he was accidentally trapped.

This was made known in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, on Thursday in Kano which was obtained by Africa Daily News, New York. He revealed that the incident occurred on Thursday afternoon.

‘We received an emergency call at about 01:35 p.m. from one Abbas Abubakar, that a man had been trapped inside a soak-away.

Guinness Nigeria Rakes In ₦15.27bn Profit In 3 Months

Guinness Nigeria which is a subsidiary of Diageo Plc, and the leading total beverage alcohol company in Nigeria has posted a boosted Profit After Tax of ₦15,278,335,000 billion for its third-quarter period ended March 31, 2022.

The company in a statement issued on Thursday said the amount represents a 731 per cent growth over same period in 2021.

The statement said Guinness Nigeria also reported a revenue of ₦159,444,503 which represents a 39 per cent growth over the same period last year.
