How Terrorists Deceived Me Twice With Qur’an – Gov Masari

The Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari has narrated how bandits deceived him twice using the Qur’an in his office and yet failed to keep up with their side of the bargain.

Masari said he regrets the trust reposed in bandits to have a change of heart during negotiations after they swore with the Qur’an.

The Governor vowed never to trust them again, stressing that they deceived his government into believing that they had surrendered their weapons by swearing with the Qur’an.

We’ll Deduct ₦242bn Fuel Subsidy From FAAC This Month –NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited is to deduct ₦242.53bn as subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly called petrol, from the Federation Account this month.

Although it described the proposed subsidy deduction as a value shortfall, the oil firm stated that the fund would be recovered from February 2022 proceeds due for sharing in the March 2022 Federation Account Allocation Committee meeting.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has again blamed the Federal Government for the ongoing strike in public universities lambasting it for not showing commitment to education.
