
Boko Haram: $1.1 Billion Needed For Assistance In N’East – UN
The United Nations has disclosed that at least $1.1 billion would be needed this year to undertake humanitarian assistance in the troubled north-east Nigeria following the devastating effects of terrorists in the region.
According to the United Nations, an estimated 8.4 million people will require humanitarian assistance in north-east Nigeria in 2022, lamenting that the total number of those displaced in the 12 years crisis in the geopolitical zone was rising to over 2.2 million.
