Popular Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie, has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

Edochie, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Wednesday while seeking the release of Kanu, called for dialogue.

Fuel Scarcity: NNPC Distributes One Billion Litres PMS

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC), has revealed that it is has commenced the process of distributing one billion litres of safe Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), known as petrol, in its stock to various fuel stations nationwide to ease the scarcity of the product.

The NNPC also disclosed that about 2.3 billion litres of PMS would arrive Nigeria between now and February ending to address the current situation and restore sufficiency.

Six Locals Killed By Suspected ISWAP Landmine In Borno

No fewer than six persons were confirmed dead yesterday with several others injured after suspected members of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) planted Improvised Explosive Devices along Gamboru-Ngala road in the Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State.

A humanitarian worker who spoke to newsmen on Tuesday narrated that first incident actually involved a commercial pickup vehicle in which three of its occupants died at the spot.
