Police Ordered To Conclude Investigations On Kyari In 2 Weeks

Nigeria Police Force has been issued with a two weeks ultimatum to conclude investigations on the case involving the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari who was suspended from the force last year.

The ultimatum was issued by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on Friday following recent disclosure by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubarkar Malami.

The development was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Head, Press and Public Relations of the Commission, Ikechukwu Ani which was obtained by Africa Daily News, New York.

VAT: Facebook Issues Fresh Deadline To Nigerian Advertisers

Social media giant, Facebook have issued a fresh warning to Nigerian advertisers on its platform to update their Value Added Tax (VAT), records to the site on or before February 25, 2022 or risk not having their adverts displayed on the platform in the coming days.

Africa Daily News, New York reports that the warning apparently followed Federal Government’s resolve to tax foreign-based social media platforms, who earn money from Nigerian advertisers.
