Anxiety As Storm Kills One, Injures Two In Germany

A least one person was confirmed dead and two others were injured as violent winds uprooted trees and caused travel chaos in Germany on Sunday evening.

Africa Daily News, New York gathered that a 58-year-old man was killed in the town of Beelitz near the capital Berlin on Saturday evening when an election poster fell on him as he walked with his partner, local media reported citing the police.

A falling tree injured a pedestrian in the northern city of Bremen, while in the northeastern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania region a motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with an uprooted tree.

Ngige Opens Up On 2023 Plans, Says He Is ‘Consulting’

Nigeria’s Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has disclosed that he would reveal his intentions on the 2023 presidency to Nigerians during the Easter period when he must have finished his consultations.

Ngige maintained that he is still consulting with relevant stakeholders across the country on running for Presidency in 2023.

The former Anambra State Governor spoke at the state’s office of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment in Awka at the weekend.

Ngige disbursed empowerment facilities to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State.
