ISWAP Commander, Abou Maryam, Others Killed In Borno

Abou Maryam, a commander of Islamic State of West Africa, ISWAP also known as Modu Kime, has been killed in a coordinated air strikes by the the Nigerian military along the fringes of Lake Chad in Borno State.

The ISWAP commander was killed alongside some fighters of the terrorist group in a bombing at the river banks of Bisko and Tumbum Tawaye in Abadam Local Government Area of Borno, according to News sources.

New Electricity Transmission Contracts Awarded By FG

Nigerian government on Thursday approved approved 16 contracts aimed at boosting the capacity to transmit and distribute electricity in Nigeria.

The award of contracts designed to alleviate the bottlenecks associated with evacuation and distribution of the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry was confirmed at an extraordinary meeting of Nigeria’s federal cabinet presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
