FCTA Vows To Pull Down All Buildings Contrary To Master Plan

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) on Thursday advised residents to build in accordance with the territory’s urban and regional plan to avoid altering the Abuja Master Plan.

Mr. Ikharo Attah, Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Monitoring, Inspection, and Enforcement, who gave the advice during an interactive session with newsmen in Abuja, said the FCTA would not hesitate to bring down any illegal structure.

About 140 million Nigerians are among the 5.1 billion people in the world that lack access to justice, Country Director, Hague Institute of Innovations of Law (HIIL), Mrs. Ijeoma Nwafor has said.

An exchange of heavy ammunition fire erupted on Wednesday between Iranian forces and Afghanistan’s Taliban at Iran’s eastern border.

According to a local Iranian news Agency, Tasnim ‘A clash erupted in the afternoon between Iranian border guards and the Taliban following a misunderstanding at the border near the (Afghan) province of Nimroz’.

Lesotho’s former Prime Minister Thomas Thabane was on Tuesday charged with the 2017 murder of his estranged wife Lipolelo Thabane.
