US: Nigerian Fraudster Invictus Obi Will Be Released 2028

United States Federal Bureau of Prisons has revealed that Obinwanne Okeke popularly known as Invictus Obi will be released in September 2028.

It was also revealed that Invictus Obi is being held at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Oakdale.

FCI, Oakdale located in Allen, Western Louisiana is a low security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum security satellite camp.

It has a population of 1,083 male inmates.

It is an all-male inmates facility, with 997 inmates in the FCI and 86 at the camp.

The Zamfara State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has revealed that its operatives have recovered ₦2.5 million from a spot where an auto accident occurred in Kwartarkashi – Gusau road in Zamfara State.

Addressing newsmen in Gusau, the State capital, the commandant of the Corps, Mr A. A Sparks said the operatives of the command demonstrated a high sense of patriotism by returning the money to the owner.

“They recovered two million and five hundred thousand Naira from an accident scene and returned the money to the owner without thinking of converting it to themselves,” he added.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Friday, declared its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, as a prisoner of conscience.

An appeal court in Morocco’s capital city of Casablanca on Thursday approved the deportation of a Muslim Uyghur activist to China despite strong fears that he would be tortured in the Asian country over his beliefs.

Africa Daily News, New York reports that Amnesty International has warned that 33-year-old computer engineer Idris Hasan is at ‘grave risk of facing torture’ in China.

The 33-year-old computer engineer was arrested sometime in July this year at his arrival at Mohammed V international airport in Casablanca from Turkey, where he lives and works.
