2023: South East Ready To Speak With One Voice – Ohanaeze

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has assured Nigerians that the South-East geo-political zone would speak with one voice in its desire to produce the next president of the country.

The embattled President of its national youth wing, Damian Okafor, made this comment in Abakaliki after he led members of the group to inspect projects executed by Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State.

He pointed out that the era when Igbo politicians spoke with discordant tones in their aspiration to protect the political interest of the zone had long gone.

Three students out of the five who allegedly assaulted late Dowen College Student, Sylvester Oromoni have been arrested, Africa Daily News, New York has learnt.

Hakeem Odumosu, Lagos state commissioner of police confirmed the arrest on Tuesday.
