Bandits Kill Two, Abduct 50 In Kaduna

Gunmen suspected to be Bandits on Friday invaded Ungwan Gimbiya Community of Sabo in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State and abducted over 50 people and killed no fewer than two persons.

A resident of the area told reporters that about 13 families were visited by the bandits, resulting in the abduction of a large number of people.

The eyewitness further explained that the attack lasted for about two hours with heavy gunshots in order to scare the people away.

Theo Ngwabidje was voted out in a motion of no confidence with several accusations made including poor governance.

The military leader of Sudan, Gen Abdel Fattah al-Burhan has called on the United Nations to show support to the transitional government in place in the country.
