Human rights lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari has destroyed Nigeria.

The senior lawyer noted that Buhari has failed in his tripodal policies through which he campaigned and won election in 2015 which are: Economy, security and anti-corruption.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria spoke at a human rights lecture organised by the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, with the theme: Nigerian School Children; Insecurity and Human Rights, held in Abuja.

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming governorship elections in Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has said the State loses ₦19.6 billion every day that it is locked down.

Former Kogi lawmaker, Dino Melaye has reacted to a statement made by President Muhammadu Buhari listing the achievement of his administration.

Buhari has said since the return of democracy to Nigeria in 1999 no government can beat the efforts of his administration in terms of putting Nigeria back on track.

Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has said the recent passage of the Petroleum Industry Acts (PIA), by President Muhammadu Buhari, is a recipe for anarchy in the country.

Diri claims the passage is yet another step taken to subordinate oil-producing states, making it more like a subordinate and superordinate relationship.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has cautioned former President Goodluck Jonathan against defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as widely speculated.
