Telecommunications giants, MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, has disclosed compensations for its subscribers to make up for the network downtime experienced sometime last Saturday.

Africa Daily News, New York recalls that on October 9, MTN Nigeria users witnessed hours of network failure which was reportedly caused by an outage that left customers without a connection.

The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, Mr. Ahmed Idris has reacted to some issues raised by some aggrieved university lecturers who are complaining about a shortage in their salaries.

Petrol Tanker Falls, Spills Content In Abeokuta

A petrol-laden tanker on Sunday evening fell at the Enugada Roundabout, along Lafenwa, Abeokuta of Ogun State, spilling its content and spreading possible fear.

Residents of the area who were gripped with fear of possible fire outbreak, made a distress call to the operational firefighters of the Ogun State Fire Services.

The firefighters, who raced to the scene, successfully averted a fire incident as they cordoned off the area to prevent the highly flammable content from exploding during the rescue operation.
