An aircraft that was piloted by Romanian billionaire Dan Petrescu on Sunday crashed into an empty office building near Milan killing him, his wife and their son, and all five others aboard.

Africa Daily News, New York gathered that the single-engine Pilatus PC-12 had taken off from Milan’s Linate airport shortly after 1:00 pm (1100 GMT) headed for Olbia in the north of the Italian island of Sardinia.

It crashed just a few minutes later in San Donato Milanese, a town southeast of Milan, according to aviation agency ANSV, which has opened an investigation.

The statement follows President Muhammadu Buhari’s announcement that the Twitter ban will be lifted, but only after certain conditions are met.

The social media platform, Twitter, which is currently banned in Nigeria, says it looks forward to having its operations reinstated in the most populous African country following “productive” discussions with its government.

For the umpteenth time, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has distanced itself from the incessant killings that has become a reoccurring anomaly in the Southeast.

 In a statement issued by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the seccessionist group condemned the unending unprovoked attacks.

‘We restate our belief in peaceful restoration of Biafra. IPOB has no hands in the senseless attacks going on in our territory. We are freedom seekers and we remain peaceful in our pursuit for freedom of Biafra,’ IPOB said.
