2023: We Don’t Want A Tribalistic President – Northern Elders

The Northern Elders Forum (NEF), has asserted that the north and Nigerians generally cannot afford another tribalistic leader like President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

NEF Director of Publicity and Advocacy, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, made this assertion while stressing that Nigeria’s next president should not be tribalistic as Buhari.

Baba-Ahmed said Nigeria needs a President who will act in the “opposite direction” to Buhari.

The NEF spokesman disclosed this on Arise TV’s ‘The Morning Show’ breakfast programme which was monitored by Africa Daily News, New York.

Cholera Have Killed 2,404 Nigerians Since January – NCDC

The cholera outbreak in Nigeria has killed no fewer than 2,404 people this year alone, more than the fatalities from the COVID-19 pandemic according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The Kano State Film Censorship Board, has declared that henceforth the showing or selling movies displaying kidnappings, drug addiction, and snatching of GSM phones is now prohibited in the State.
